Sun. Workshop 12:00 Making herbal salt based on the book ‘Het Kruidenkompas Lannoo Publishers In this interesting workshop you will make your own herb salt. This is a must-have in your kitchen: you can transform a simple dish into a Michelin-starred creation by adding a touch of herb salt. In a flash, you can also turn the herb salt into a deliciously scented scrub or bath salt, a wonderful addition to your daily body care routine. You will receive a thorough explanation of the herbs used and a number of ideas to continue experimenting on your own. After the workshop, you will take your own jar of herb salt home with you.

Sun. Workshop 15:00 Make your own herbal honey based on the book ‘Het Kruidenkompas’ Lannoo Publishers An oxymel is a traditional mixture of vinegar and honey, often used in herbal medicine. It has been used for centuries for various health purposes, such as promoting digestion or relieving colds. An oxymel contains herbs to enhance and support its medicinal effects. In this workshop, we will work with rosemary and red vine leaf, herbs known for their beneficial effect on blood circulation and the musculoskeletal system. You can drink the oxymel neat (for example, 1 tablespoon in a glass of water) or use it in dressings, marinades, or as an herbal remedy for colds. You will receive an explanation about the herbs and how you can further experiment with an oxymel. You will make your own jar to take home.
