Visiting Hex?

Hex is a private estate.

The castle is inhabited by the d’Ursel family, who are distant relatives of the founders of the estate in the 18th century.

To protect the privacy of the residents, it is not possible to enter the gardens or park without prior arrangement.

Nevertheless, there are numerous opportunities and ways for garden enthusiasts to visit the gardens and park of Hex.

During the HEX Garden Festival in June and September:

The gardens and park of Hex are open to the public for one weekend twice a year. During those days, it is possible to enjoy a guided group walk.

Our guides are ready at regular intervals to tell you all about the gardens, the history and the collection of special plants in four languages.

Group visits throughout the year:

Would you like to come at another time of year to let the peace and quiet of the estate sink in and experience the work in the garden up close? It is possible to make an appointment for a group of up to 35 people.

Where possible, we will provide a guide for your group in the language of your choice.

The price for the visit is €17.50 per person with a minimum of €350 per group.

Group visits are generally possible on any working day of the week.

There are no visits :

      – at weekends

      – bank holidays

      – school holiday dates

Contact the secretary's office in good time (at least 6 weeks before the planned date) to request a group visit or for more information.
