KWEEK NURSERY

When people think of the organic nursery KWEEK, they may well immediately think of the wooden dome structure that stands out time and again in the plane tree-lined avenue of Hex.

KWEEK is a new nursery run by Heleen Calcoen, a former student of Peter Bauwens (De Nieuwe Tuin). All year round, you can visit the KWEEK online shop for a unique collection of vegetable, herb and flower seeds, as well as plant-based fertilisers. In the spring, Heleen also offers seedlings at Hex. The seedlings are certified organic; they are peat-free and plastic-free, and only plant-based fertilisers such as seaweed, lava meal and sugarcane molasses are used.
