Every year, millions of kilos of sheep's wool are left unused. Where many people saw a waste stream, Maarten and Natalie saw an opportunity.
The question was simple: can we turn a forgotten natural product into something that benefits plants, gardens and the earth? That quest led to a surprising answer: a 100% natural plant fertiliser made from sheep’s wool, which we call ORO wool pellets.

ORO wool pellets do not just work as food for plants. The wool pellets also hold water like a sponge, improve soil structure and release their nutrients slowly. This gives plants what they need for months, while the soil remains healthy.

But ORO wool pellet is more than a product. It is an enterprise that demonstrates sustainability does not have to be complicated. By giving a residual stream a second life, something that once seemed worthless is transformed into a valuable raw material for gardens, vegetable gardens, balconies and houseplants.
