Natagora

Natagora’s LAINE FLEURIE project promotes the use of wool from sheep whose grazing helps maintain the exceptional floral biodiversity of Belgium’s nature reserves. We attend the shearing sessions, sort the wool and take as much as possible with us, paying the shepherds to support them in their nature-friendly farming practices. The wool harvested is washed in Verviers, spun in France, knitted, fulled and felted in Belgium. With the help of local craftswomen, we create a wide range of pure-wool products: slippers, zafu cushions, rugs, jackets, jumpers, blankets and various accessories.
