GEZOND VAN BIJ ONS – FANCY FRUIT

Fancy Fruit, run by Theo and Marleen Jammaers from Borgloon in the Hesbaye region, was a small-scale family business specialising in the cultivation of soft fruit and heritage apple and pear varieties.
Looking for successors, in the spring of 2015 they found their long-standing counterpart willing to take over the business. Gezond van bij ons now also incorporates Fancy Fruit. Theo and Marleen remain involved with Luc and Agnes and their fruit preparations, from a distance and sometimes closer by. As a traditional, family-run and local top-fruit business, they specialise in the artisanal processing of fruit into jams, syrups such as elderberry syrup, liqueur and fruit juices.
