JOOSTEN NURSERY

We are very pleased that Joosten Nursery is back. Son Erwin has taken over the business from mum Marianne and is now also back at plant fairs. You can find them in their well-known spot as you enter the French garden.

Joosten Nursery specialises in Hemerocallis, Iris germanica, Iris sibirica and Iris ensata. The Hemerocallis is much better known as the daylily. We have around 1,200 different varieties of this flower in our range.

Irises
Iris germanica is also known as the bearded iris. These are irises that are very common in France. Our collection consists of over 1300 cultivars. We also have a small collection of irises that are suitable for the marsh and even for the pond, namely about 50 species of iris sibirica and 90 species of iris ensata.
