AATALANTA GARDENS

Atalanta-Gardens is a hardy perennial plant nursery that builds upon the 40 years of experience of Geert Van de Walle and Magda Kielbaey. Their youngest daughter, Elke, currently works at the nursery and will eventually take it over. After years of focusing primarily on wholesale, the focus has shifted back to retail sales in recent years. The plants are grown as organically as possible, and over the past two years a new aspect has also been introduced: bee-friendly plants. After all, bees play a key role in our world.

They will search for both classic ‘forgotten’ plants and novelties, in order to constantly remain interesting to the public.

Elke's youthful enthusiasm and the knowledge of Geert and Magda make a good combo in this plant nursery.
