Garden situation
Two ancient crooked mulberry trees, Morus Nigra, held up by crutches still bear fruit in abundance, as do figs and espaliered pears, so ancient that their gnarled lichen-laden branches appear to grow in and out of the wall.
Old types of dwarf apple, such as "Reinette Rouge Etoilée" and "Court Pendu Plat" grow in a cordon on the other side of the mossy pathway.

Festival of rare plants, roses & kitchen gardens
Every year, on the second weekend of September the gardens are open to the public. Specialist nurseries, many holding national collections, put their best products for sale. At the same time the public can attend exhibitions, demonstrations and lectures by professionals from Belgium and abroad on the most interesting subjects.
