Due to the large size of this garden (1ha) the space reserved for vegetables has been reduced in favour of growing more flowers for bouquets and vases.
Apart from these, there is a large collection of herbaceous paeonies, as well as some exceptional tree-paeonies sheltered against the wall of the nursery.

Festival of rare plants, roses & kitchen gardens
Every year, on the second weekend of September the gardens are open to the public. Specialist nurseries, many holding national collections, put their best products for sale. At the same time the public can attend exhibitions, demonstrations and lectures by professionals from Belgium and abroad on the most interesting subjects.
