Garden situation

The gardens, surrounded by hornbeam hedges extending south-westwards, were renewed by the Belgian landscape architect Jules Janlet in 1910.
The intricate parterres used to be filled with multicoloured flowers, which were replaced several times a year.

Central part of the formal garden in winter. 19th Century impression by Jos Damien, still with Victorian style flowerbeds.
